Hadewijch Hofland started playing the violin at the age of 7. In 2007, Hadewijch obtained her Bachelor’s degree with Peter Brunt, at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague.
During her Master studies at the same conservatoire she was taught by Vera Beths and Phillippe Graffin. She performed the violin concerto by Sibelius with the Zuid-Holland Symphony Orchestra and the violin concerto by Beethoven. Hadewijch took masterclasses with Rudolf Koelman, Piere Amoyal, Ilja Grubert, Isabelle van Keulen, Ronald Brautigam, Phillipe Graffin, Maurico Fuchs and Giuliano Carmignola, among others.
