This is the first work of Mari, where she acted as a composer and as a performer at the same time.
Metrical freedom combined with unexpected arrangement solutions (also the author’s) and playing on words in two languages. Listening to this fusion jazz album, you will take a journey through your whole life, return to childhood, to good and bad moments of your life, and at the end you will even have the opportunity to look into the future, which will be bright and great, as Marie sings in one of songs on your album. All compositions from this album you can hear on December 9 at the Batavierhuis.
