In this intimate concert, Federico Castelli’s lyrical guitar style is enhanced by David Gram’s ethereal sounds on pedal steel, creating a unique nostalgic country/western atmosphere blended with jazz.
This duo has its roots in the realms of Americana, country/western, and surf music, mixed with imaginative melodies reminiscent of Ennio Morricone’s film scores and the raw sounds of Tom Waits.
The primarily original repertoire consists of twangy and captivating guitar compositions, as well as country and western rhythms played in an intimate duo setting.

Federico Castelli;s en David Gram zijn de leidende stemmen van Federico Castelli’s nieuwe project Flotsam, dat later dit jaar in oktober zijn debuutalbum uitbrengt. In dit intieme concert wordt Castelli’s lyrische gitaarstijl versterkt door David Gram’s etherische klanken op pedal steel, wat een unieke nostalgische country/western sfeer vermengd met jazz creëert. Dit duo heeft zijn wortels in het rijk van Americana, country/western en surfmuziek, vermengd met melodieën vol verbeelding die doen denken aan de filmmuziek van Ennio Morricone en de rauwe klanken van Tom Waits. Het voornamelijk originele repertoire bestaat uit twangy en meeslepende gitaarcomposities, evenals country- en westernritmes gespeeld in een intieme duosetting.
