The concert serie "Bottasso invites" begins with an acoustic folky night; an acrobatic accordion will bump into a virtuoso multi-style violinist!
Folk melodies, improvisations and roller-coaster compositions for trekharmonica and violin.

Pablo Rodriguez is also the founder of North Sea String Quartet and he is a very active musician between La Palma, Netherlands and Belgium. He’s very talented in building bridges through different styles and repertoires, in a very personal way.
Simone and Pablo Rodriguez met in CODARTS; they performed for the first time as a duo during last Christmas in La Palma, at the Atlantic Folk Meeting: started as a nice way to visit a friend during the holidays, it turned out to be such an exciting concert!

The idea of this serie is to explore the combinations of trekharmonica (diatonic accordion) with other instruments, sounds, forms of art and concepts and see how they can blend together. In each concert there will be premieres of new composition, written especially for the night.
This serie is also a symbolic way to explore new (and dust off old) collaborations, friendships, give a new life to unfinished sketches and lost compositions, and definitely to try to get back on stage with a renovated and healthy performance routine.
