A type of ensemble staple of the jazz tradition: Sonny Rollins, Sam Rivers, Joe Henderson, John Coltrane, Warn Marsh and so on – many of the greats at some point explored the so called pianoless trio in search of a different sound and freedom.
And so will do Ricci, Fongaro and Peet too, in an evening dedicated to the great repertoire of the jazz standards and of the American songbook.
Nicolò Ricci – tenor saxophone
Alessandro Fongaro – double bass
Jamie Peet – drums
This concert is hosted by Alessandro Fongaro
