‘Tablaos’, in Spain, are places where flamenco shows take place. There is a social atmosphere, with references to this Andalusian art. The most passionate flamenco fans usually refer to them as “flamenco temples” and it is not surprising. The tablaos have contributed to the recovery and maintenance of flamenco, which was declared as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2010. Therefore, they are a very important part of the preservation of this art.
For this occasion, this atmosphere will be reproduced in order to make the audience feel the unique strength of the tablaos. One of the most innovative dancers in the flamenco scene at the moment, Gabriel Aragú, is coming straight from Sevilla to share the stage with Batavier and dancer Claudia Karapanou, singer Erminia Fernandez and guitarist Lucas Arango.
