Tacora Cello Ensemble explores the rich world of folk and earthy sounds, showcasing the cello’s versatility. Their repertoire includes original arrangements and compositions, blending Latin American folk and tango, with Celtic traditions and European popular music. The ensemble brings four cellos together for a fun and heartfelt performance, filled with music, stories, and lots of good energy.
Different cultures and communities around the world are represented in their popular music, and they all present a specific language that identifies them. The cellists from Tacora, raised in various Spanish regions and Venezuela, come together to merge their own musical languages and reconnect with their roots, while sharing them with each other and their audience.

Tacora Cello Ensemble verkent de rijke wereld van volks- en aardse geluiden, waarbij de veelzijdigheid van de cello centraal staat. Hun repertoire omvat originele arrangementen en composities, waarbij Latijns-Amerikaanse volksmuziek en tango worden vermengd met Keltische tradities en Europese populaire muziek. Het ensemble brengt vier cello’s samen voor een leuke en oprechte uitvoering, gevuld met muziek, verhalen en veel goede energie.
Verschillende culturen en gemeenschappen over de hele wereld worden vertegenwoordigd in hun volksmuziek, en ze presenteren allemaal een specifieke taal die hen identificeert. De cellisten van Tacora, opgegroeid in verschillende Spaanse regio’s en Venezuela, komen samen om hun eigen muzikale talen samen te smelten en weer in contact te komen met hun roots, terwijl ze deze met elkaar en hun publiek delen.
