Marasa is a free-minded creator, illustrator and photographer. Her work is about the freedom of the spirit and the mind. In her photo collection “70 days in Mexico”, she documented in a contrasting black and white style her journey through the holy country of Mayans and Aztecs.
Her illustratory work focuses on the same freedom addressing topics as inequality, feminism and spirituality in a sensitive and abstract way.
Vulnerable, authentic, and with a glimmer of hope. Noah Elliott’s work explores identity, mental health, and life as a young queer person in this world. Combining music, poetry, and spoken word, they create a unique, immersive experience in their performances.
Inspired by artists such as Phoebe Bridgers, dodie, and Elliott Smith, Noah released their debut EP, I’m Still Breathing, in July 2022.
“Emma Beukelman creates Balkan music, coming from her Slavic roots. What she really wants to highlight in her performance is the art of living in the moment and the joy of dancing with time on the music. No matter what your mood is, Emma wants to create an open space to feel every emotion that comes up and be grateful for that. Together with Marius on guitar, this will be a special acoustic set. Be ready to dance!”
Instead of Ella is a Rotterdam based band consisting of Rengert Eggink, Stella Müller, Emre Karayalçin and Marie Scheuermann. The band draws inspiration from such musical styles as krautrock, psychedelic rock, progressive rock, ambient music and dreampop to create their sound. With a debut album to be released in 2024, the band brings a sound not often heard from live bands due to their approach to songwriting combining the band’s knack for creating a psychedelic backdrop with ethereal melodies.
This is a free event but reservations via tickets are necessary.
