Fadua is actrice, theatermaker & scenarioschrijver. Momenteel werkt ze aan meerdere projecten waaronder een solovoorstelling die binnenkort in verschillende theaters te zien zal zijn.
Fadua works as an actress, theatre maker and script writer. She also has years of experience as a theatre & social studies teacher. She now identifies herself primarily as a multidisciplinary maker. As a maker, she works with themes that are connected to who she is as a person, always carrying her cultural heritage with her and trying to give it a place in the stories she tells. Fadua: “The performances I perform in give me the opportunity to tell stories that have hardly been told before. I think it’s important to ensure proper representation in the theatre landscape and I’m committed to this as a maker! She makes montage performances in which storytelling, physical theatre, multimedia and music are interwoven into fragmented portraits.
Last year Fadua was on stage for Melk & Dadels, a production by director Daria Bukvic, and she made Mabrouk with actor Nasrdin Dchar and the Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra. This year, Fonds Podiumkunsten awarded her the Nieuwe Makers scheme, which is for new makers to develop themselves further. She is currently working on several projects, including a solo performance, which she will present next season. This summer, she will perform the show We Are History, directed by Marcus Azzini of Toneelgroep Oostpool.
